It is the story of Lazarus who ...See moreIn the first episode of the third cycle of "Early shots", we present Bosko Krljas, a young director from the Republic of Srpska, a student of the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, and his film "Atanasija". It is the story of Lazarus who returns to his native village, trying to sell the land and go to Italy. In the village, he finds his uncle and sister and their unhealthy relationship. The land turns into a symbolic experience in which Byzantine icons, incest and animal fights appear. Personal problems open up, but the line between life and death shrinks... The roles in the film are played by Natasa Peric, Bojan Kolopic and Sasa Torlakovic. Kristina Djukovic, a playwright, screenwriter and film critic, brings us a review of the film "Atanasija", and Bosko Krljas's guest is his director of photography, Zoran Pilipovic, with whom we discuss the preparation of their joint graduation short feature film, which is called "The Land of the Living".
