"Life beyond the battle" portrays the daily life of civilians and military personnel fighting to save lives in Afghanistan War. They work in Emergency Medical Evacuation Aircraft (MEDEVAC) of the NATO, in the Kandahar Military Hospital, in the Indira Gandhi Children's Hospital and in the International Red Cross' Orthopedic Center for amputees. They are a group of men and women who try to shed a dash of hope in hell. This documentary shows the war's hidden face. A face where death is present at every moment.
