He struggles to adapt to the changes of the modern world: price increases, the speed of cars, the obsession with technology, how supermarket's operate. He also realises what he cannot have a family, and his friends from before have all moved on, he is alone again. As the media report he is in line for a £1 million pound compensation pay out, drug dealer Gary tries to gain Sean's business by befriending him and giving him free drugs.
