He passes the days listening in peace to old Italian operas, drinking a glass of good Italian wine and smoking excellent cigars. But his peaceful live abrupt ends as a new attendant is assigned to him: the young and cruel Stefan. The disturbed attendant starts to terrorize him and takes away the only things that gave Salvatores live a meaning.
