After being rejected at an audition, crestfallen, Yesseul wanders around the city of Seoul when Francis, an American tourist approaches her to ask for a cigarette. Two strangers who share completely different cultural background, stroll around the old streets in the heart of Seoul, a cosmopolitan city where indelible traces of Korean history reside.
