Taylor angrily accuses Brooke of trying to cause a rift in her marriage. Brooke claims that she only wants the best for her baby. Eventually, Brooke and Taylor both vow to fight each other for Ridge. Ridge confirms to Eric that he could be the father of Brooke's child. However, Ridge suggests to his father that there is a chance that Brooke might recommit to their marriage regardless of the results of the paternity test because she has agreed to move back in with him until the baby is born. Sheila feigns concern for Judy and falsely sends the nanny - who does not experience any lasting effect from her recent fall - home sick with alleged flu symptoms, so that she can take care of Eric Junior and thus be closer to Eric.
