Zoom overwhelm is real. We're all feeling it. And, while video calls are great for meetings, they are also a way to simulate the human connection we're all missing right now. On the face of it, CTRL. SHIFT. ESC isn't really about much at all. There's no huge plot line. But it does capture the need to connect for connection sake. To find comfort in shared interests. To relinquish control and adapt - shift. To use video calls and technology not just to fulfil a functional purpose or meet out of obligation. To survive we need to "really" connect. To actually show up as our full selves, not a version that is acceptable, comfortable, appealing. To truly connect we need to reveal, listen, comfort, unite. To feel. To live. To escape. See less
