She went into hiding with her father Luca and Pippo in Munich. The hope that they can quickly travel on to Calabria is little consolation for Sofia. They are dependent on the Italian entrepreneur Domenico Palladio, a high-ranking member of the 'Ndrangheta, who uses Pippo and Luca for his own purposes to whitewash drug money in the construction industry in Munich.
