There is the full version and then time ...See more" Lunar Eclipse over Northfield, Kentucky 20-21 February 2008" is a film of the Lunar Eclipse as seen from the front yard of Callan's former house at 2404 Stannye Drive, Northfield, KY 40222-6336. There is the full version and then time lapse version of the lunar eclipse. This was a cold winter night to be outside filming the lunar eclipse while listening to the Coast To Coast AM Radio Show. At the beginning of the show, they had a reminder of it taking place tonight and that gave provided the encouragement to get outside and record the historic event. The freezing temperatures required Callan to cool the camera and lens slowly ahead of time by having a dry towel over the camera so that the warmer temperature of the camera would not cause dew on the lens to form and maybe freeze. After the videocamera chilled, it was ready to use. While a tripod was used, it was rather cold outside. Therefore, an adjustment of the camera would take place, then Callan would run back inside, but leaving an unattended (expensive) camera sitting in the front yard was not a great idea.
