The first part of the rumour is not true but the second part is. She is unable to have children and thinks this is a constructive way to use the money they saved for a child. She and her husband squabble over this. Andy's parents are dead. Daddy Tom fires both Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. He later re-hires them on the condition that she not mention the money until the last day of camp. She does wait, but Andy wants to work his way through college. She is reconciled with Mr. Johnson, and they decide to adopt a child. Written by GusF See less
