As time passes he learns to care for her companionship and decides he loves her. He proposes but later repents. Twice he is led to the altar and runs away. In his panic, he runs to the station and is there arrested as a desperate bandit. Dick and Mabel discover him and he is released. Mabel induces him to go to the altar a third time, she agreeing to say "no." She says she doesn't want to marry him but wants to get even. At the wedding she says "yes," dumbfounding Warder. However, as he is married there is nothing else to do but accept married life and they depart happily on their honeymoon. Written by
