He has it towed to his ...See moreBert is a bored taxi driver by day and a limo driver by night. One night, after driving his rich and glamorous clients to all the hottest nightclubs in New York City, Ernie finds an abandon VW down by the river. He has it towed to his garage when he spends the next seven years working on it, developing a bond with the vehicle, which he names "Herbstina". One night, some bully limo drivers who are also race car drivers, come to his garage and beat Ernie up and vandalize Herbstina. Seeking comeuppance, Bert enters into a race at Southside Speedway against the bully drivers. During the race, Bert discovers that Herbstina is a possessed demonic car hellbent on revenge. Systematically, Herbstina kills all the bully drivers during the race, but race officials don't care because they dislike the other bully drivers, too. Bert and Herbstina win the race and a NASCAR team owner in attendance sign him to a contract to become "the best damn driver the world has ever seen" to which Bert replies "Only if it's okay that Herbstina kills some of the other drivers!" They all have a good laugh and Bert goes on to win the Daytona 500 in his first NASCAR race and is given a crown that says "Best Damn Driver in the World". Written by Karl Jellymore See less
