Harrison Halliday, the living image of the dead actor, takes his place, and the film is completed. The deception succeeds, and the public is kept in ignorance of Neil's demise. Harrison falls in love with Sheila Kane, the widow of the late actor, but their happiness is threatened when Cora Forman, a member of the film company at the time of Neil's death, blackmails Harrison.
