They also deployed naval fleet under command of Commodore James Biddle. It is the beginning of the end for piracy here; the final showdown between the armies of America and Europe and the pirates that once owned these seas looms ahead in the not so distant future. The rum, spice, and weaponry trades are flourishing in the region, and the seas are ripe with sunken treasures infamously lost to the sea.
