She was in the middle of shooting a zombie film when she found out she had stage 3 cancer in her face. Production was forced to stop. We documented when she found out from during and after her surgery. The footage of her slaying zombies in the film that was utilized to help metaphorically describe her overcoming cancer. Update as of October 21st after we finished this film we were given disturbing news. Nikkis cancer has come back and she underwent invasive surgery to correct it she is still fighting to this day.
