Later, Darla confronts Clarke, but he warns her not to say anything or she will end up on the street. At Spencer Publications, Julie asks Bill for a reprieve before publishing her tell-all-tale. Sally explains to Clarke about Macy and Thorne's marital problems. Thorne confides in Ridge that Macy walked out on him; he considers Sally the source of all his misery. Sally convinces Macy to forget about her husband, move in with her and come back to Spectra.
