Steps to reproduce
- Open https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Batman_(Film) in the Android app.
- Open the language selector.
- Notice that the English link’s title appears as “The Batman (film)”.
- Open the English link to verify that the title at the top of the article is “The Batman (film)” (with italic).
- Open a Serbian link (either Cyrillic or Latin) and verify that the film title is italicized here as well.
Actual result
- Notice that the Serbian links’ titles appear as “<i>Бетмен</i> (филм из 2022)”, with raw HTML markup.
Expected result
- Notice that the Serbian links’ titles appear as “Бетмен (филм из 2022)”, without raw HTML markup. (Even better would be if the Latin-script version showed Latin-script “Betmen (film iz 2022)”, but that’s another bug, present in the desktop version as well.)
Additional information
- Actually, it may be even better to show the italic in the language selector (i.e. “Бетмен (филм из 2022)”); I wrote non-italic as expected result only for consistency with non-language-converted languages.
