Issue with adding non-breaking space before m (meters)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/General_fixes#Fix_non-breaking_spaces_(FixNonBreakingSpaces) says "m" is excluded from the insertion of a non-breaking space due to its use as an abbreviation for million. However, that's not always the case.

In the articles below, AWB's general fixes will a non-breaking space in some, but not all measurements in meters.
For example, in [[Bhagirathi Parbat I]], AWB changes "6,454m" to "6,454 m" but does not change "6,792m" in the previous line.

  • [[Bhagirathi Parbat I]]
  • [[Bhagirathi Parbat III]]
  • [[Bhagirathi Parbat IV]]
  • [[Janhukut]]
  • [[Mukut Parbat]]
  • [[Sri Kailash]]
  • [[Vasuki Parbat]]

rev 12414 allow comma in ft number for metres non-breaking space insertion

Thanks @Rjwilmsi
Should https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/General_fixes#Fix_non-breaking_spaces_(FixNonBreakingSpaces) be changed from

"m" is excluded due to its use as an abbreviation for million

to

"m" is excluded due to its use as an abbreviation for million, except when it is immediately followed by a measurement in ft

Thanks!
