Only Child
A story about how a family deals with the aftermath of a devastating tragedy as told through the eyes of a six-year old boy. It's a story about healing and focusing on what you have, not what was lost.
The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
I like that Housel points that the relationship I have with money doesn't need to align with anyone else's goals but my own. We all have different notions of what financial independence entails.
William H McRaven's Make Your Bed
A book that illustrates the vital role that small, routine habits can have in personal or work life. Would highly recommend. Plus it's a quick read.
