I'm Paul 👋 I'm a Web Developer living in Hitchin, in Hertfordshire, in the UK. I currently work at Monzo Bank, I'm involved with Hitchin Hackspace, and I organise Hitchin Web meetup group.

Once upon a time I wrote open-source software, like a virtual machine to run Lua in web browsers, a transpiler to convert Lua to ES6, and a CLI to code ESP8266 and ESP32 microcontrollers with Lua. I guess I liked Lua. But then I had kids and my spare time disappeared.

Nearly a decade later I'm trying to rediscover side-projects, starting with a tool to help discover RSS feeds on the Fediverse.

I sometimes post on Mastodon, commit to GitHub, log my reading on BookWyrm, and go to meetups.
