Abstract

The invention relates to a tool for cutting flat foodstuffs such as pizzas or tarts. It is particularly suitable for cutting individual portions of the Moroccan foodstuff "pastilla". It is similar to a pair of scissors in design. It comprises a flat triangular jaw which is inserted under the foodstuff, joined to an upper handle. This jaw is crossed with a second movable jaw by way of a peg. The second movable jaw is likewise made up of a lower handle joined to 3 downwardly oriented blades that are connected at their ends to form a slicing triangle that is empty on the inside.
