Description

Wearing article manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for manufacturing a worn article, and more specifically to a method and apparatus for manufacturing a disposable diaper having a sheet piece as a constituent material.
Conventionally, a tape-type paper diaper is known in which a fastening tape is attached to the back body covering the back of the wearer and a front patch is attached to the front body covering the wearer's abdomen. The fastening tape and the front patch constitute a surface fastener and are mechanically coupled. A back body and a front body are formed from the to-be-attached sheet | seat which consists of a nonwoven fabric etc.
In the manufacturing process of such a paper diaper, a sheet-to-be-bonded belt, to which a sheet to-be-bonded is continuously connected, is transported, and a sheet piece serving as a front patch is spaced on the strip along the transport direction. paste. In order to paste the sheet pieces on the sheet band to be attached at regular intervals, after continuously cutting the sheet pieces from the band-shaped sheet material, the conveying direction pitch of each sheet piece is widened, and the sheet sheet to be attached is Paste to. As a technique for widening the sheet-direction conveying direction pitch, there is one shown in Patent Document 1.
This uses a cutter roll and an anvil roll whose peripheral surfaces are in contact with each other. A sheet piece is cut out from the sheet material by a cutter roll. The anvil roll rotates at a second conveyance speed that is faster than the first conveyance speed, which is the conveyance speed of the sheet material, and sucks the sheet material. Further, the anvil roll is in contact with the cutter roll in the vicinity of the upper end portion, and the lower end portion is opposed to the adherend sheet conveyed at the second conveyance speed.
In the manufacturing process of the disposable diaper, first, the sheet material is conveyed at the first conveying speed and transferred to the peripheral surface of the anvil roll. Since the anvil roll rotates at a speed faster than the conveying speed of the sheet material, the sheet material initially slips relative to the anvil roll. At this delivery point, the sheet material is cut with a cutter roll to form a sheet piece. At the same time, the anvil roll sucks the sheet material. The anvil roll rotates at the second conveyance speed while adsorbing the sheet piece. Although the sheet material was conveyed at the first conveying speed, the sheet piece is conveyed at the second conveying speed that is faster than that, so that the pitch in the conveying direction of adjacent sheet pieces increases. The sheet pieces conveyed to the lower end portion of the anvil roll are sequentially attached to the adherend sheet band.
特開2007-260875号JP 2007-260875 A
In the conventional manufacturing method, the sheet piece was cut out from the sheet material at the upper end portion of the anvil roll, and the sheet piece was attached to the adherend sheet strip at the lower end portion of the anvil roll. That is, the distance from cutting out the sheet piece from the sheet material to sticking the sheet piece to the sheet band to be attached is short.
However, when the sheet piece is cut out from the sheet material, the cut sheet piece is not accurately conveyed along the conveyance direction, that is, the rotation direction of the anvil roll, due to the sheet material being pressed from above and bent. , It may be transported in a slightly shifted direction. In this case, since the distance from cutting out the sheet piece to sticking the sheet piece to the attached sheet band is short, the sheet piece is attached to the attached sheet band with the posture shifted from the conveying direction. In this case, the sheet piece is not correctly attached to the sheet band to be attached, and the paper diaper is not manufactured correctly.
If the coefficient of friction between the sheet material and the anvil roll is high, the sheet material does not slip with respect to the anvil roll, and the sheet material extends until the sheet material is cut into sheet pieces by the cutter roll. Even in this respect, the sheet piece is not correctly attached to the sheet to be attached.
An object of the present invention is to affix a sheet piece to a to-be-adhered sheet strip in a correct posture.
The manufacturing method of a wearing article is arranged with a cutter blade rotating on a peripheral surface and cutting a sheet material to be conveyed into sheet pieces, and spaced apart from the cutter roll in the conveyance direction of the sheet material. And a transfer roll that conveys the sheet piece by rotation, and the rotation transition path of the transfer roll faces the sheet piece and an adherend sheet band that is conveyed at the same speed as the sheet piece. Is provided,
Cutting the sheet material conveyed in the conveying direction by rotation of the cutter roll to form the sheet piece cut in the conveying direction; and
A step B of conveying the cut sheet piece toward the transfer roll at a first conveyance speed while maintaining the direction of the cut sheet piece along the conveyance direction;

Have
1. The cut sheet pieces formed by the cutter roll are arranged so that the direction is along the transport direction before going to the transfer roll. Thus, the sheet piece is prevented from being opposed to the adherend sheet band in a posture deviated from the conveying direction, so that the sheet material is correctly attached to the adherend sheet band.
2. Further, the sheet material is previously cut by a cutter roll, cut into individual sheet pieces, and then conveyed to a transfer roll. Therefore, there is no possibility that the transfer roll extends the sheet material before cutting, and the sheet piece that has been cut in advance is correctly attached to the sheet band to be attached.

For convenience of illustration, known waist gathers and side gathers are not shown. A pair of side panels 13 having fasteners at the front end portions are provided on both the left and right sides of the rear body 10, and a sheet piece 2 that is a front patch for fastening the side panel 13 to the non-skin contact surface of the front body 11. Is provided. The fastener provided at the tip of the side panel 13 is a so-called male fastener, while the sheet piece 2 is a so-called female fastener, and the side panel 13 and the sheet piece 2 constitute a surface fastener. An absorbent body 6 that absorbs urine is attached to the skin contact surface of the crotch part 12. The back body 10, the front body 11, and the crotch part 12 are composed of the adherend sheet 3. The adherend sheet 3 may be formed of a single nonwoven fabric, may be formed by stacking a plurality of nonwoven fabrics, or may be a laminate of a liquid-impermeable film and a nonwoven fabric.
The disposable diaper 1 is worn by fixing the side panel 13 of the back body 10 to the sheet piece 2 of the front body 11 with the back body 10 applied to the back of the wearer and the front body 11 applied to the abdomen of the wearer. Can be worn by a person.
1 and 2, the sheet piece 2 has an upper edge formed in a corrugated shape, and a central portion in the lateral direction is recessed. This is to prevent the abdomen from hitting the sheet piece 2 even when the wearer takes a forward leaning posture or a sitting posture. Further, the sheet piece 2 has the same shape at the upper edge and the lower edge because the sheet piece 2 is cut out by one rotating cutter blade 50 as described later.
(Attaching a sheet piece to a sheet to be attached)
FIG. 3 is a plan view showing a state in which a plurality of adherend sheets 3 are continuous in the longitudinal direction. The adherend sheet 3 is obtained by cutting the adherend sheet strip 30 along an imaginary line L1 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof. A plurality of sheet pieces 2 are affixed at equal intervals along the longitudinal direction of the adherend sheet band 30 on the adherend sheet band 30, whereby one sheet piece is attached to each adherend sheet 3. 2 is attached.
As shown in FIG. 4, the sheet piece 2 is obtained by cutting and cutting the band-shaped sheet material 20 conveyed along the conveying direction with a cutter blade. Adjacent sheet pieces 2 are separated from each other. In order to attach each sheet piece 2 to the adherend sheet strip 30 at equal intervals, the following steps are performed.
FIG. 5 is a side view showing the outline of the wearing article manufacturing apparatus 4. The manufacturing apparatus 4 includes a conveyor 40 that transports the sheet material 20 at the first transport speed V1, and a cutter roll 5 that cuts the sheet material 20 transported at the first transport speed into sheet pieces 2 cut in the transport direction. And a second transport that is spaced apart from the cutter roll 5 in the transport direction of the sheet material 20, sucks each sheet piece 2 by forming suction holes 70 in the peripheral surface, and is faster than the first transport speed. A transfer roll 7 that rotates at a speed V2 and a sticking device 8 that sticks the sheet piece 2 sucked to the peripheral surface of the transfer roll 7 and transported at the second transport speed V2 to the sheet band 30 to be pasted. ing. A location J2 (see FIG. 6) is provided in the rotation transition path of the transfer roll 7 so that the sheet piece 2 and the sheet strip 30 to be attached face each other, and the attaching device 8 faces the location J2. Deployed. In other words, the sheet piece 2 and the adherend sheet band 30 are disposed between the attaching device 8 and the transfer roll 7. An anvil roll 51 is disposed below the cutter roll 5.
The cutter roll 5 has one cutter blade 50 on the peripheral surface. When the cutter roll 5 rotates once, a cut 21 (see FIG. 4) corresponding to the upper edge of each sheet piece 2 is formed. Further, when the cutter roll 5 rotates once, the sheet material 20 is conveyed at the first conveyance speed V1 by the conveyor 40 during the rotation, so that a cut 21 corresponding to the lower edge of each sheet piece 2 is formed. Thereby, the sheet piece 2 is cut out from the sheet material 20.
The pasted sheet band 30 passes between the pasting device 8 and the transfer roll 7 at the second transport speed V2, that is, at the same speed as the sheet piece 2. The affixing device 8 affixes the sheet piece 2 to the affixed sheet band 30 by heat fusion or the like, but may be affixed by other methods.
That is, the pasting device 8 may be any device that can sandwich and fix the sheet strip 30 and the sheet piece 2 between the transfer roll 7 and may be a drive roll, a belt conveyor, an embossing roll, or the like. May be. In this case, a hot melt adhesive or the like may be applied in advance to at least one of the locations where the adherend sheet strip 30 and the sheet piece 2 face each other.
The sheet strip 30 to which the sheet piece 2 is bonded is sent to the reversing roll 42, the front and back are reversed, and conveyed in the conveying direction.
As shown by a one-dot chain line in FIG. 5, an adjustment section TY is provided between the cutter roll 5 and the transfer roll 7 so as to maintain the orientation of the continuous sheet pieces 2 along the conveying direction. When the sheet piece 2 is cut from the sheet material 20 by the cutter roll 5, the sheet piece 2 may be displaced from the conveyance direction in the conventional technique, but the sheet piece 2 is held and conveyed in the adjustment section TY. Thus, the correct posture of the sheet piece 2 along the conveyance direction can be maintained.
Further, a plate-like guide mechanism 41 may be provided in the adjustment section TY. As shown in FIG. 4, the guide mechanism 41 faces the side surface of the sheet piece 2 formed by the cutter roll 5 and conveys the sheet piece 2 in a correct posture. That is, the sheet piece 2 is prevented from being conveyed in a direction deviated from the conveying direction as indicated by a one-dot chain line in FIG.
The manufacturing apparatus 4 attaches the sheet piece 2 to the adherend sheet strip 30 by the following method. The sheet material 20 is conveyed by the conveyor 40 toward the cutter roll 5 at the first conveyance speed V1. The cutter roll 5 is rotated, the sheet material 20 is cut with the cutter blade 50, and the sheet piece 2 cut in the conveying direction is formed (see FIG. 4).
The cut sheet piece 2 is transported toward the transfer roll 7 at the first transport speed V <b> 1 while the orientation is maintained along the transport direction in the adjustment section TY. When the leading end of the sheet piece 2 reaches the transfer position to the transfer roll 7, the sheet piece 2 is sucked and held on the peripheral surface of the transfer roll 7 rotating at the second conveyance speed V2, and conveyed. Since the transfer roll 7 rotates at the second conveyance speed V2 that is faster than the first conveyance speed V1 at which the sheet piece 2 is conveyed, a plurality of sheet pieces 2 that are separated and conveyed (see FIG. 4). ) Are transported at regular intervals.
The sheet pieces 2 conveyed at regular intervals are pasted to the sheet strip 30 to be pasted by the pasting device 8. Since both the sheet piece 2 and the adhered sheet band 30 are conveyed at the second conveyance speed V <b> 2, the sheet piece 2 does not slip with respect to the adhered sheet band 30. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 3, the sheet pieces 2 are attached at equal intervals along the transport direction on the sheet band 30 to be adhered.
The front and back of the sheet strip 30 to be adhered is reversed by the reversing roller 42, and the absorber 6 (see FIG. 1) is adhered to the surface opposite to the sheet piece 2. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 3, the attached sheet band 30 is cut along the imaginary line L1, and the attached sheet 3 to which the sheet piece 2 is attached, that is, as shown in FIG. The unfolded paper diaper 1 is obtained. Note that the side panel 13 may be attached before being conveyed to the cutter roll 5 as the sheet material 20 or may be attached after the attached sheet band 30 is cut along the virtual line L1.
It is assumed that the transfer roll 7 is rotating at the second transport speed V2. However, the transfer roll 7 that rotates at the second conveyance speed V2 is not limited to the one that rotates at a constant speed, and at least the sheet piece 2 is received by periodically shifting the rotation speed as shown in FIG. What is necessary is just to become 2nd conveyance speed V2 in the location passed. That is, on the transfer roll 7, the sheet is rotated at the first conveying speed V1 at J1 where the sheet piece 2 is transferred, and the first conveying is performed in the section K1 up to the position J2 facing the pasting device 8. By increasing the speed from the speed V1 to the second transport speed V2, the sheet piece 2 is transferred to the adherend sheet band 30 at the second transport speed V2, and up to the first transport speed V1 in the other section K2. You may slow down.
In this way, if the transfer roll 7 is rotated while being periodically shifted, the transfer roll 7 is rotated at the first conveyance speed V1 at the location J1 where the sheet piece 2 is transferred. The sheet piece 2 conveyed at the speed V1 can be reliably held without slipping.
The transfer roll 7 capable of periodic shifting may be mechanically shifted periodically using a cam mechanism or the like, or may be electrically cycled using a servo motor as a drive motor. Considering the case of exchanging the size of a paper diaper or the like, it is desirable to perform a periodic shift by a servo motor that does not require a large exchange of the transfer roll 7.
(Effect of this embodiment)
1. The sheet piece 2 formed by the cutter roll 5 is maintained so that the direction thereof is along the conveying direction in the adjustment section TY by the time it goes to the transfer roll 7. Thereby, the sheet piece 2 is correctly affixed on the to-be-adhered sheet | seat strip | belt 30. FIG.
2. Further, the sheet material 20 is cut into individual sheet pieces 2 by the cutter roll 5 in advance and then conveyed to the transfer roll 7. Accordingly, there is no possibility that the transfer roll 7 extends the sheet material 20 before cutting, and the sheet piece 2 that has been cut in advance is correctly attached to the sheet band 30 to be attached.
In the said embodiment, although the paper diaper was illustrated as a wearing article which affixes a sheet piece to a to-be-adhered sheet | seat for every fixed interval, a wearing article is not limited to this, For example, even if it is sanitary shorts etc. Good.
In the above embodiment, the female fastener is exemplified as a sheet piece to be attached to the sheet band to be attached. However, a side panel, a design sheet, or the like may be used as long as the sheet piece is attached at regular intervals.
Furthermore, in the said embodiment, while conveying the sheet | seat material 2 to the cutter roll 5 with the 1st conveyance speed V1, the method of conveying the cut sheet piece 2 toward the transfer roll 7 with the 1st conveyance speed V1. Although illustrated, the speed which conveys the sheet | seat material 20 toward the cutter roll 5 may be slower than the 1st conveyance speed V1 so that a speed difference may arise between the 1st conveyance speed V1. In this case, after the sheet material 20 is cut by the cutter roll 5, the cut sheet piece 2 is conveyed toward the transfer roll 7 while being separated by the speed difference, so that the transfer to the transfer roll 7 is performed reliably. be able to.
In addition, as the nonwoven fabric used for the sheet 3 to be attached, an air-through nonwoven fabric, a spunlace nonwoven fabric, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, a melt blown nonwoven fabric, and the like are used from the viewpoint of beauty of appearance and touch. Of course, other non-woven fabrics may be used.
The present invention is useful when used in a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for a wearing article in which sheet pieces are attached to a sheet to be attached at regular intervals.
