Definitions
- the present invention relates to implants implanted in the human body in a bone adhesion method, and more particularly to a drug delivery device using an implant to enable the continuous use of various drugs for the treatment of patients' diseases using the implant.
- the drug delivery system is a dosage form designed to deliver the required amount of drug by minimizing the side effects of the existing drug and maximizing the efficacy and effect. In addition, it is used as a means to solve the inconvenience caused by the injection.
- the drug delivery system is effective when an anti-inflammatory drug is administered orally when treating arthritis.
- the drug delivery system has other side effects such as ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, it means designing the body to reduce these side effects and maximize the efficacy.
- oral administration of the drug is the most common form for chronic outpatients who require long-term continuous drug administration. Therefore, despite the superiority of the drug self-formulation, long-term administration of the patient is not well observed. It is always present and is a big problem in the treatment of chronic diseases and suppression of aggravation, which causes considerable losses due to problems such as personal health as well as nationally abandoned drugs.
- the insulin pump has been developed for the treatment of diabetes, which is one of the representative diseases among chronic diseases, and has been developed to enable continuous drug administration and maintenance of the drug concentration. There was a problem that brought exercise restrictions in life.
- the present invention has been made to solve the various problems as described above, by continuously administering a variety of drugs required for the treatment of diseases of chronic diseases using the implant, the inconvenience of regular taking and injection of the drug
- the object of the present invention is to provide a drug delivery device using an implant to minimize the number of side effects or side effects.
- the present invention for achieving the above object;
- each dosage part formed at an end of the diffusion part to inject the contents of the drug cartridge into the human body.
- the present invention includes the following effects.
- the accuracy and promptness according to the drug delivery is excellent and the dosing efficiency is improved.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic exploded perspective view of a drug delivery device according to the present invention
- FIG. 3 is a conceptual diagram showing an operating state of the drug delivery device according to the present invention.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic exploded perspective view of a drug delivery device according to the present invention
- Figures 2 (a) to (c) are embodiments of the drug delivery device according to the present invention
- Figure 3 is a drug delivery device according to the present invention A conceptual diagram showing the operating state.
- the drug delivery device 1 includes an implant 10 implanted in the human body to perform a supporting function, and a lid 20 coupled to the implant 10 to perform a blocking function; A receiving part 12 formed on the implant 10 to accommodate the drug cartridge 30 as well as to be opened and closed by the cover part 20; A plurality of diffusion parts 14 formed on a wall surface of the accommodation part 12 to diffuse and discharge the contents of the drug cartridge 30; And each dosage unit 16 formed at an end of the diffusion unit 14 to inject the contents of the drug cartridge 30 into the human body.
- the drug delivery device 1 is composed of the implant 10, the cover portion 20 and the drug cartridge 30 is coupled to each other, in particular in the implant 10 and the receiving portion 12 and The diffusion unit 14 and the dosage unit 16 are further provided to increase the convenience of taking the drug of the chronic patient.
- the implant 10 is screwed to the human body of the chronic disease, preferably bone tissue of the chronic disease, the screw thread (10-2) is formed on the circumferential surface is screwed to the human body On the inner wall upper side, a screw thread (10-4) to which the cover portion 20 is screwed is formed.
- the implant 10 and the cover portion 20 is limited to that coupled to the screw type as a coupling structure, but is also included in the technical category of the division even if fixed by sliding or interference fit method.
- the receiving part 12 is formed to be concave in the implant 10 to provide a space for accommodating the drug cartridge 30, and is formed in a shape corresponding to the appearance of the drug cartridge 30,
- the cylindrical shape is preferable, but the polygonal shape is included in the technical category of the present application.
- At least one guide protrusion 12-5 is formed on the wall surface of the accommodation part 12 to guide the engagement and withdrawal of the drug cartridge 30.
- the present invention is limited to the guide protrusions 12-5 formed on the wall surface of the receiving portion 12, even if the guide grooves are formed in place of the guide protrusions 12-5 are included in the technical category of the present application. .
- the diffusion part 14 is formed through the wall surface of the receiving part 12 in a sequential order, and provides a space in which the contents of the drug cartridge 30 diffuses in the peripheral direction, in particular the drug
- the fluidity of the contents of the cartridge 30 can be formed in various shapes and sizes.
- the diffusion portion 14 may be formed as an inclined hole that is inclined downward gradually from the inlet to the outlet side, as the inclination of the inlet and the outlet is different, as in the "b" of FIG.
- the inlet and the outlet may be formed as horizontal holes having a uniform cross-sectional area and slope.
- the dosage unit 16 is sequentially formed on the outer wall surface of the implant 10 to contact the medulla bone (B), and communicates with the diffusion unit 14, the drug cartridge ( It performs the function of releasing the contents of 30) into the human body.
- the dosage portion 16 may be formed in the bone portion or the mountain portion of the screw thread (10-2), it is preferable to form sequentially in the bone portion in consideration of the dosage efficiency of the drug cartridge (30). Do.
- cover portion 20 is coupled to the inlet of the implant 10 to prevent leakage of the drug cartridge 30 as well as to block the inflow of foreign matter, the upper side of the receiving portion 12 It can be screwed or screwed in.
- the drug cartridge 30 is selectively inserted into and fixed to the receiving portion 12, and at least one guide groove 32 fitted in the circumferential surface with a guide protrusion 12-5 and a male and female coupling method. ) Is formed.
- a pull-out protrusion 34 in the form of a handle of the drug cartridge 30 is formed is used in the receiving and withdrawal process on the top.
- the drug cartridge 30 is preferably configured to incorporate an absorbent body that absorbs the drug in the housing 36 and, in particular, corresponds to a position where the diffusion part 14 is formed in the housing 36.
- an absorbent body that absorbs the drug in the housing 36 and, in particular, corresponds to a position where the diffusion part 14 is formed in the housing 36.
- the present invention has been described as being limited to embedding the absorbing member in the housing 36 as the drug cartridge 30, but is included in the technical category of the present application even if the housing 36 is excluded.
- the drug delivery device 1 when operating the drug delivery system according to the present invention, as shown in Figure 3, the drug delivery device 1 is inserted into the medulla bone (B) through the cortical bone (A) of the chronic disease
- the process must be upfront.
- the receiver 12 receives the drug cartridge 30 having a component suitable for the treatment of a chronic patient and the lid part. Refit 20.
- the dosage unit 16 of the drug delivery device 1 is located in the medulla bone B of the chronic patient, as shown in FIG. 3, the contents of the drug cartridge 30 are diffused by osmotic pressure. Are administered to the human body by
