- the valve body 75 includes a bulging portion 75 a, a projecting portion 75 b, and a seal portion 77.
- the seal portion 77 is formed on the outer peripheral edge of the valve body 75.
- the seal portion 77 has substantially the same outer diameter as the oil tank opening 12a. In a state where the oil cap 42 is attached to the oil tank 100, the seal portion 77 contacts the opening edge 12b of the opening portion 12a. Thereby, the seal part 77 seals a gap between the oil tank 100 and the oil cap 42.
- the bulging portion 75 a is formed at the center of the valve body 75.
- the bulging portion 75 a has a shape in which the central portion bulges with respect to the peripheral portion, and the central portion bulges toward the inside of the oil tank 100. That is, the bulging portion 75a bulges to the inner surface 75e side where the air pressure in the oil tank 100 of the valve body 75 acts. More specifically, the bulging portion 75a is curved in a dome shape and has a shape corresponding to a part of a spherical surface.
- a protrusion 75b is formed at the top of the bulging portion 75a, that is, at the lower end of the bulging portion 75a shown in FIGS.
- the protruding portion 75 b protrudes from the top of the bulging portion 75 a toward the inside of the oil tank 100, that is, toward the one surface 75 e of the valve body 75.
- the protruding portion 75b protrudes in a bag shape.
- the protrusion 75b has a pair of flat plate portions 75d that face each other.
- the flat plate portion 75d gradually approaches toward the top of the protruding portion 75b.
- a slit 75c is formed at the top of the protrusion 75b.
- the slit 75c extends perpendicular to the direction in which the flat plate portions 75d face each other.
- valve body 75 As shown in FIG. 6, when the atmospheric pressure in the oil tank 100 and the atmospheric pressure, that is, the atmospheric pressure in the valve body 75 are balanced, the slit 75c of the protruding portion 75b is closed. When the oil in the oil tank 100 is released to the outside, the atmospheric pressure in the oil tank 100 decreases.
- FIG. 7 shows a state where the air pressure in the oil tank 100 has decreased.
- the bulging portion 75a and the protruding portion 75b are deformed to expand.
- the bulging portion 75a is elastically deformed toward the inner surface 75e of the valve body 75.
- the protrusion 75b is greatly deformed so that the pair of flat plate portions 75d are separated from each other.
- the slit 75c provided at the top of the protrusion 75b is opened.
- the atmosphere is introduced into the oil tank 100 and the atmospheric pressure in the oil tank 100 increases.
- FIG. 8 shows a state where the air pressure in the oil tank 100 has increased.
- the bulging portion 75a of the valve body 75 is largely deformed by the air pressure in the oil tank 100 so as to be depressed. That is, the bulging portion 75 a is elastically deformed toward the outer surface 75 f of the valve body 75.
- the integrally formed protruding portion 75b is also deformed by the influence, and the slit 75c is opened. As a result, the gas in the oil tank 100 is exhausted outside the oil tank. Thereby, the atmospheric pressure in the oil tank 100 is lowered.
- the valve body 75 is attached to the oil cap 42 of the present embodiment in order to adjust the atmospheric pressure in the oil tank 100.
- the slit 75c of the valve body 75 is used to reduce the pressure between the atmospheric pressure and the atmospheric pressure in the oil tank 100 both when the atmosphere is introduced into the oil tank 100 and when the gas in the oil tank 100 is exhausted outside the oil tank 100. Opened by the difference. That is, the valve body 75 serves as both an air introduction valve that introduces air into the oil tank 100 and an exhaust valve that exhausts the gas in the oil tank 100 to the outside of the oil tank 100. According to this configuration, it is not necessary to separately provide the air introduction valve and the exhaust valve, and the configuration of the valve member 72 can be simplified.
- the oil slit 75c can be opened largely, particularly when the pressure inside the oil tank 100 is larger than the atmospheric pressure.
- the bulging portion 75 a bulges into the oil tank 100, and the protruding portion 75 b projects into the oil tank 100. For this reason, the space for disposing the valve body 75 of the oil cap 42 can be reduced.
- valve body 75 is integrally formed with a seal portion 77. For this reason, the assembly of the oil cap 42 is facilitated.
- the valve member 72 is supported so as to be swingable with respect to the knob body 66. In this configuration, the valve member 72 is positioned by contacting the seal portion 77 and the opening edge 12b. By swinging the valve member 72, it is possible to prevent only a part of the seal portion 77 from coming into contact with the opening edge 12b and prevent a gap from being formed between the seal portion 77 and the opening edge 12b. For this reason, it is not necessary to form the opening edge 12b of the oil tank 100 and the valve member 72 with high accuracy.
- the oil cap 42 is rotated with respect to the oil tank 100 and is attached to and detached from the oil tank 100.
- the seal part 77 is in contact with the opening edge 12 b of the oil tank 100.
- the valve member 72 is supported by the knob body 66 so as to be rotatable in the circumferential direction of the support plate 73. Further, the friction coefficient between the wave washer 70 and the support plate 73 is smaller than the friction coefficient between the seal portion 77 and the opening edge 12b. From this relationship, while the oil cap 42 is being rotated, the rotation of the valve member 72 relative to the opening edge 12b is restricted by the frictional force between the seal portion 77 and the opening edge 12b, and the position is maintained.
- knob main body 66 rotates with respect to the valve member 72 by sliding between the wave washer 70 and the support plate 73. Thereby, abrasion of the seal part 77 by the seal part 77 sliding to the opening edge 12b can be prevented.
- the bulging portion 75a of the valve body 75 has a shape along a part of the spherical surface.
- the shape of the bulging part 75a is not limited to this.
- a truncated cone shape or a truncated pyramid shape may be used.
- the center part of the valve body 75 does not need to bulge.
- the seal portion 77 is integrally formed with the valve body 75.
- the valve body 75 and the seal portion 77 may be formed separately.
- the chainsaw 10 is described.
- power tools such as hedges, lawn clippers, hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, mowers, and brush cutters may be used.
- the valve member 72 is provided on the oil cap 42 of the oil tank 100.
- the valve member 72 can be used for various things, such as a cap for a fuel tank that stores fuel such as an engine, in order to adjust the atmospheric pressure in the container.
