Abstract

The invention relates to a method for making a composite insulator with a protection coating made of a polymer material containing an antiozonant and an antioxidant, that comprises the step of incorporating said antiozonant at a final mass concentration of between 0.005 % and 1% and said antioxidant at a final mass concentration of between 0.005 % and 1%, wherein said antiozonant is selected from the family of phenylenediamines and said antioxidant is selected from the family of multifunctional phenolic antioxidants.
