Abstract
本発明の目的は、M-CSF受容体阻害剤を有効成分として含有するMLL白血病及びMOZ白血病治療剤を提供することにある。また、M-CSF受容体の発現または活性を抑制し、白血病を治療または予防する医薬組成物のスクリーニング方法の提供も課題とする。さらにM-CSF受容体の発現量を測定する工程を含む、白血病の検査方法の提供も課題とする。本発明者らは、上記の課題を解決するために、鋭意検討を行い、難治性急性白血病であるMLL白血病及びMOZ白血病を誘導する活性のある細胞(白血病幹細胞)において、M-CSF受容体(M-CSFR、CSF1R、c-FMS、CD115)の発現が高いこと、すなわちM-CSF受容体シグナルが白血病の発症に密接に結びついていることを見出した。
