Abstract
The invention relates to a non-invasive method for estimating the blood glucose concentration in a subject by analyzing the absorption spectrum of electromagnetic radiation in the mid- infrared region at multiple wavelengths, to determine a unique spectral signature of mid-infrared radiation and to correlate the unique spectral signature to the analyte concentration.
