KOO'I'Z, or MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN MOP consrnuo'rion The object of the invention is to provide a mop in which the mop material is hung from a wire frame the ends. of which" may be readily and securely attached to the pivoted p 5 connector of the mop handle and permit it to be readily taken off for washing. More particularly, the preferred construction provides a mop in which the handle and the framehave a substantially universal jointv connection so that the mop may be used in veryrestricted places that are not accessible to mops of the ordinary pivoted handle type. g

Inthe drawings the mop body '6 is shown as of usual construction comprising the mop strands 7 of yarn or other "suitable'material or strips 8 and 9 of canvas or other suitable fabric, which strips are also secured by the. stitching 10 to form a frame-receiving channel or pocket 11.
The frame 12 is formed of relatively heavy wire, preferably of triangular shape, to obtain the advantages Well known in this art of getting into corners or other restricted spaces, and extends through thepocket 11 and the ends 13 of said frame extend inwardin'pivotal connection therewith.

I desire it to be understood that this invention is not to be limited to any particular form or arrangement of parts except in so far as such limitations are specified in the claims.
What I claim as my invention is:
1. In a mop, the combination with a mop body having a frame-receiving pocket, of a frame extending through said pocket and having its free ends extending inwardly of its periphery, a frame connector comprising a sheet metal member bent to provide adj acently disposed yielding channel members providing pockets receiving the free ends of said frame, ahandle connector, and a pivot bolt extending through said handle connector and the inner and outer sides of said channel members above said pockets and applying pressure to draw the sides of said channel members together to clamp the ends of the frame thereto.
2. In a mop, the combination with a mop body having a frame-receiving pocket, of a mop'frame extending through said pocket and having its free ends extending inwardly of its periphery, a pivot bolt, a metal frameclamping connector having yielding portions engaging the free ends of said frame and confining them between said connector and the pivot bolt, and a handle connector, said pivot bolt securing said connectors together and extending through both connectors and applying pressure to said yielding portions of said frame-clamping connector to draw them together to clamp the ends of the mop frame thereto.
3. In a mop, the combination with a mop body having a frame-receiving pocket, of a frame extending through said pocket and having its free ends extending inwardly of its periphery, a channeled frame connector having yielding portions engaging the free ends of the frame, a. handle connector, and a pivot bolt clamping said connectors together and clamping said ends between the yielding portions of said frame connector.
