This invention relates generally to hygienic devices, and has more particular reference to a combination sanitary belt and napkin holder. v

The invention has for an object, the provision of a combination sanitary belt and napkin hol-der,which is eflicientand comfortable in action, and which offers the greatest to the appended claim in which the various novel features of the invention are more particularly set forth. I

The reference numeral 10 indicates a resilient strap adapted to comfortably fitabout the waist line of a wearer, and providedwith a hook arrangement 11 for engaging the ends of the strap together. Depending from the strap 10 is a back resilient strap 12, and a front resilient strap13. The front resilient strap 13 is provided with a slide arrangement 14 to change the length thereof, and a hook 15 is engaged to the lower end of the strap. The hook 15 engages a complementary element 16 fastened to the top of a trapezoidally shaped silk fabric joiner 17. The top end of another trapezoidally shaped silk fabric material joiner 18 is fastenedto the bottom of strap 12, while secured between the bottoms of the joiners' 17 and 18 is a napkin holder 19. The sides 19 of the napkin holder are of curved contour adapted to snugly fit against the legs of a wearer, so as to afford comfort to the wearer and freedom of movement. This napkin is made of liquid-proof material, preferably. rubber.

Near the ends, and transversely of the napkin holder, are positioned certain holding straps 20 attached to the napkin holder at their ends to allow a napkin indicated by dot dash lines 21', to be removably insertable thercbeneath. Secured to the napkin holder 19 adjacent the'joiner 18 are resilient leg straps 21 and-22, provided with slide ar- 7 rangements 23 to change the lengths thereof, and hooks 24 are engaged to the ends of these straps. These hooks-24 are engageable with complementary elements 25 secured to the'napkin holder 19 adjacent the joiner 17 7 The curved contour sides 19 of the napkin are formedwith inwardly projecting ends 19 adaptedto contact against the wearer, hiding the napkin from exterior view, and also holding the napkin firmly in place, removing possibilities of the napkin from sliding from the napkin holder and falling therefrom,

The modification illustrated in Figure 6 discloses a na kin holder. 26 with inwardly projecting en s 27 vulcanized thereto.

While I have illustrated and described the preferred form, construction, and arrange ment of the several elements employed, it will be understood that the device is nevertheless, susceptible of considerable modification thereon, and I therefore reserve the right and privilege of resorting to all such i changes as may be fairly embodied Within the spirit and scope of the invention as claimed.

Having thus described my invention What 5 I claim as new, and desire to secure by United States Letters Patent is:

A device of the class described, c0mprising a napkin holder sheet, means for securand end strips ofvresilient material With Wedge shaped slots forced on the bent sides, so as to stay thereon.
