Abstract

Detergent compositions comprising: (a) a C8 to C18 alcohol ethoxylate containing from 2 to 4 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol, (b) a C7 to C13 alcohol or mixture thereof, (c) a C 1 to C6 alcohol or mixture thereof, (d) a defoamer and (e) optionally a C8 to C18 alcohol ethoxylate containing from 5 to 9 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol have good detergency properties with low-foaming characteristics.
