Abstract

FIELD: electrical and power engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotor of electrical machine has no locking rollers. Upper stator end windings are eliminated and lower ones have sufficient space that does not influence generator size. When disc-type rotor is designed with oval end part, stator members gradually and uninterruptedly transfer from one inner surface of disc-type frame to other; in case of straight end part, only stator winding transfers to second part of frame and does not interact with magnetic flux. In former case, single rotor and solid stator are formed and maximum possible power output is attained, but voltages induced in stator winding will have different harmonic frequencies due to different number of rotor poles, and this voltage will require rectification followed by frequency changing. In the latter case, poles are arranged on rotor disc along radii and in selecting speed and number of poles generator voltage will be of desired frequency. Moreover, convexo-convex design provides for between cooling conditions as rotor and stator components are adequately distributed and interpole wiring is made inside disc. EFFECT: improved design and cooling conditions. 4 dwg

The invention relates to the electrical and electrical industries, in particular to the design of electrical machines. The proposed electric machine with a biconvex disk-rotor is devoid of these drawbacks and is characterized by the improvement of some qualities of the disk generator. A biconvex disc rotor does not require locking rollers. In this case, the upper (external) frontal overhang of the stator windings is eliminated by itself, and there is enough space for the lower (internal) one that does not affect the dimensions of the generator. When performing a rotor disk with an oval end part, the stator elements, without interruption, pass from one inner surface of the disk-shaped body to another, and when executed with a straight end part, only the stator winding that does not interact with magnetic flux passes to the second half of the body. In the first case, a single rotor and a solid stator are formed, and the maximum possible power is achieved at the generator output, but because of the different number of poles on the tiers of the disk-rotor in the stator winding, voltage harmonics with different frequencies will be induced and its voltage will be required, followed by frequency conversion . In the second case, the poles on the rotor disk are located along the radii and when selecting the rotation frequency and the number of poles, the output voltage of the generator will be a certain (necessary) frequency. In addition, with the use of a biconvex disk-rotor, the cooling conditions are improved, since the elements of the rotors and stators are carried, the interpolar installation is displayed in the internal cavity of the disk. With a flat disk-rotor, the installation would fill the entire pole space.
