Description

PLA frequently used dressing, which has been widely commercially for some time now, is made of gauze soaked with a disinfectant and glued to a rubber band so that the edges of the tape remain free and serve as a plaster for fastening the dressing. When a dressing is used, a block is cut off, corresponding to the size of the wound to be treated, and this piece is applied so that the gauze covers the wound, while the sticky side of the plaster sticks to the skin and fixes the dressing. The plaster has holes to ensure air access to the wound and accelerate its healing itself. The described dressing also has an advantage over a gauze dressing in that it can be put on faster, is cheaper, does not move over the wound and leaves more free movement because it is relatively small. The present invention aims to improve the described dressing in many respects. The improvement consists mainly in the fact that the gauze or bandage is provided with a thin layer of silver. This layer may be in the form of a thin sheet, foil, sprayed onto a bandage or gauze, or may be chemically applied. The silver layer may be applied to the wound side of the dressing, or vice versa, if a wound is applied. the side of the dressing facing the wound should have holes or expose a part of the gauze surface, so as not to reduce too much the absorbent surface of the fabric and air access. An example of making a new dressing is shown in the figure, i.e., a sticky plaster, b - gauze lining, c - silver layer in the form of a perforated foil. PL
