Claims (35)
- GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법으로서,다수의 GPS 위성에 대한 상기 GPS 수신기의 범위를 추정하는 의사범위를 제공하는 단계;다수의 위성 신호의 수신의 절대 시간에 대한 추정치를 제공하는 단계;상기 GPS 수신기의 위치에 대한 추정치를 제공하는 단계;상기 위상 추정위치 데이터를 제공하는 단계; 및상기 GPS 수신기의 절대 시간에 대한 상기 추정치와 위치에 대한 추정치를 업데이팅함으로서 상기 의사범위를 사용하여 절대 위치 및 절대 시간을 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 의사범위는 밀리초-이하 의사범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 절대 시간의 추정치의 일례는 10밀리초 이상의 에러를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 절대 시간의 추정치는 GPS 기준 시간에 링크되지 않은 클록에 의해 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 위치 및 절대 시간에 대한 추정치는 임의의 추측에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,선험적 의사범위-잔류치를 형성하는 단계;상기 선험적 의사범위-잔류치를 상기 위치 및 절대 시간 추정치의 업데이트에 관련시키는 수학적 모델을 형성하는 단계; 및상기 수학적 모델에 맞은 위치 및 절대 시간의 업데이트를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 선험적 의사범위-잔류치는 상기 위성으로부터 상기 선험적 위치 추정치로의 예상 범위와 의사범위 사이의 차이인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 예상 범위는 상기 선험적 시간 추정치에 의해 주어진 시간에 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 수학적 모델은 비선형 수학적 모델의 테일러 급수의선형화인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 선형화는 이하의 식이고:여기서, ui는 하나의 위성에 대한 선험적 범위-잔류치;ρi는 위성 i에 대한 의사범위;x, y 및 z는 위치 업데이트의 3개의 좌표;tC는 공통 모드 에러 업데이트;tS는 수신 업데이트의 절대 시간; 및∂는 부분 도함수를 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 업데이트중 하나 이상이 알려진 것으로 가정되어, 나머지 업데이트가 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 업데이트 x, y, z 또는 tC중 하나 이상이 알려진 것으로 가정되고 상기 수학적 모델내에서 가정치와 동일한 것으로 설정되어, 나머지업데이트가 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 업데이트 x, y, z 또는 tC중 하나 이상이 알려진 것으로 가정되고 의사범위-측정치로서 상기 수학적 모델에 가산되어, 나머지 업데이트가 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제한요인중 다른 측정치는 상기 수학적 모델내에서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 선험적 위치는 상기 GPS 수신기를 포함하는 이동 장치와 통신하는데 사용된 무선탑의 위치로부터 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 절대 시간 추정치는 서버내 실시간 클록으로부터 얻어지고, 상기 서버는 상기 GPS 수신기로부터 원격 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 위치 및 시간을 계산하는 방법.
- GPS 수신기의 절대 시간을 계산하는 방법으로서,다수의 GPS 위성에 상기 GPS 수신기의 범위를 추정하는 의사범위를 제공하는 단계;상기 GPS 수신기의 위치에 대하 추정치를 제공하는 단계; 및상기 의사범위 및 위치 추정치를 사용하여 절대 시간을 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 GPS 수신기의 절대 시간 계산 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 의사범위는 밀리초-이하의 의사범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 절대 시간 계산 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서,선험적 의사범위-잔류치를 형성하는 단계;상기 선험적 의사범위-잔류치를 상기 위치 및 절대 시간 추정치의 업데이트에 관련시키는 수학적 모델을 형성하는 단계; 및상기 수학적 모델에 맞은 위치 및 절대 시간의 업데이트를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 절대 시간 계산 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 선험적 의사범위-잔류치는 상기 위성으로부터 상기 선험적 위치 추정치로의 예상 범위와 상기 의사범위 사이의 차이인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 절대 시간 계산 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 예상 범위는 상기 선험적 시간 추정치에 의해 주어진 시간에서 계산되는 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기의 절대 시간 계산 방법.

- 다수의 정수 밀리초의 모호성을 가진 부분 의사범위로부터 GPS 수신기에 대한 GPS 위치를 계산하는 방법으로서,a) 상기 GPS 수신기의 선험적 위치를 선택하는 단계;b) 상기 선험적 위치에 부합하는 정수를 계산하는 단계;c) 항법 솔루션을 계산하는 단계;d) 귀납적 잔류치를 계산하는 단계; 및e) 상기 계산된 정수가 정확하다고 결정하는데 상기 귀납적 잔류치의 상대 크기를 사용하는 단계; 및f) 사전설정된 임계치 이하의 크기를 가진 잔류치가 계산될 때까지 다른 선험적 위치를 사용하여 상기 단계 c), d) 및 e)를 반복하는 단계를 포함하는 GPS 위치 계산 방법.
- 제28항에 있어서, 상기 선험적 위치는 실제 수신기 위치의 특정 거리내에 있지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 위치 계산 방법.
- 제28항에 있어서, 상기 선험적 위치는 실제 수신기 위치로부터 100km 보다 더 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 위치 계산 방법.

- 제33항에 있어서, 상기 의사범위는 밀리초-이하 의사범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에 대한 위치 및 시간 계산 시스템.
- 제33항에 있어서, 상기 위치 추정치는 상기 무선 송수신기로부터 신호를 수신하는 서버에 연결된 무선탑의 위치인 것을 특징으로 하는 GPS 수신기에 대한 위치 및 시간 계산 시스템.
