Abstract
본 발명은 커버윈도우와 OLED패널의 가장자리부를 곡면형태로 형성하는데 있어, 나노마그네틱입자를 포함하는 발열필름을 이용하여 특정 부위에만 짧은 시간내에 열을 가함으로써, 손쉽게 가장자리부를 곡면형태로 형성할 수 있으면서도 OLED패널에 열에 의한 손상을 최소화하고 공정시간 또한 최소화 할 수 있다.
특히, OLED패널과 커버윈도우가 서로 기포나 들뜸 없이 완전히 밀착되어 부착되도록 할 수 있어, 에지 곡면형 표시장치에서 곡면부에서 패널과 커버윈도우 사이에서 기포나 들뜸에 의해 헤이즈 현상이나 화상 왜곡현상이 발생하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
이를 통해 불량률을 낮추게 됨으로써, 작업성 및 생산성을 향상시키게 되고, 공정 비용 및 공정시간이 증가하게 되는 문제점 또한 방지할 수 있어, 공정의 효율성을 향상시키게 되며, 제품의 신뢰성 또한 향상시키게 된다.

도 2는 본 발명의 실시예에 다른 곡면형 표시장치(curved display device)를 개략적으로 도시한 분해 사시도.

Claims (12)
- 커버윈도우와, 상기 커버윈도우 하부로 디스플레이패널을 준비하는 단계와;
상기 커버윈도우 상부로, 발열필름을 위치시키는 단계와;
상기 발열필름으로 고주파 유도 자기장을 조사하는 단계와;
상기 발열필름으로부터 발생되는 마찰열이 상기 커버윈도우로 전달되어, 상기 커버윈도우의 적어도 일부에 휘어져 있는 제 1 곡면부를 형성하는 단계와;
상기 커버윈도우의 제 1 곡면부를 따라 상기 디스플레이패널에 제 2 곡면부를 형성하는 단계
를 포함하며, 상기 발열필름은 나노마그네틱입자를 포함하며,
상기 나노마그네틱입자는 자성체 물질을 포함하는 코어(core)와, 상기 코어를 감싸는 쉘(shell)로 이루어지며, 상기 나노마그네틱입자는 기재필름 내에 분산되어 구성되는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 발열필름은 상기 제 1 곡면부에 대응하여 위치하는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 커버윈도우 상부로는 상기 제 1 곡면부에 대응하는 제 3 곡면부를 갖는 가변지그가 위치하며, 상기 디스플레이패널 하부에는 상기 제 2 곡면부에 대응하는 제 4 곡면부를 갖는 가압지그가 위치하며,
상기 커버윈도우와 상기 디스플레이패널은 상기 가변지그와 상기 가압지그에 의해 가압되어, 상기 제 3 및 제 4 곡면부에 대응하는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 곡면부를 갖도록 형성되는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 자성체 물질은 철(Fe), 코발트(Co), 니켈(Ni), 크롬(Cr), 이트륨(Y), 사마륨(Sm), 가돌리늄(Gd)의 산화물 중 하나를 포함하거나, Fe3O4, Fe2O3 중 하나로 이루어지는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 자성체 물질은 상기 코어 내에 5 ~ 100중량%으로 함유되는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 쉘은 ZrO2, TiO2, Al2O3, CeO2, SiO2 중 하나로 이루어지는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 커버윈도우와 상기 디스플레이패널 사이에는 양면 접착성 테이프가 개재되는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 가압지그의 상기 제 4 곡면부의 외측으로는 상기 디스플레이패널의 가장자리 끝단이 끼움 삽입될 수 있는 고정홈이 형성되어,
상기 커버윈도우와 상기 디스플레이패널을 가압하는 과정에서, 상기 디스플레이패널의 가장자리 끝단은 상기 고정홈에 끼움 삽입되어 고정되는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 가변지그는 베어링에 의해 형성하고자 하는 곡면형상을 갖도록 변형되는 곡면형 표시장치의 곡면형성 방법.
