Abstract

PURPOSE:To form easily and inexpensibly a molded product which is thin and light in weight and possesses high heat resistance, high mechanical strength and a beautiful pattern of rock tone, by a method wherein compound powdery and granular aggregate for formation of the rock-tone pattern is spread over SMC in about a fixed thickness, which is inlaid through pressurization and press molding of the SMC is performed so theat in inlaid surface of the aggregates may become outside. CONSTITUTION:Compound powdery and granular aggregate 1 is spread over SMC 2 in about a fixed thickness. The compounded powdery and granular aggregate 1 is obtained by compounding various coarse sands, fine sands and rock-making mineral particles at an appropriate rate so as to form a desired rock tone pattern. It is preferable that a spreading thickness of the compounded powdery and granular aggregate 1 falls within a range of about a half of the thickness of the SMC 2 or thinner. The SMC 2 over which the compounded powdery and granular aggregate 1 has been spread is passed through press rolls 3, 3 and the compounded powdery and granular aggregate 1 is inlaid into a surface layer part of the SMC 2 through their rolling pressure. The SCM 2 into which the compound powdery and granular aggregate 1 has been inlaid like this is arranged between a top and bottom forces 4a, 4b of a press molding machine. Press molding of the SMC 2 is performed under heating so that the inlaid surface of the aggragate becomes outside of a molded product, the same is cured and a desired thin molded product is obtained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a molded product with a rock-like pattern suitable for use as a wall material inside or outside a house, and a method for manufacturing the same.

A typical example of this type of molded product with a rock-like pattern is a press-molded product made of resin concrete, which is a mixture of thermosetting resin, granular aggregate, reinforcing fibers, catalysts, and the like. Such molded products have a pattern between granite stones on their surface and have a relatively good appearance, so they are often used as wall materials, etc. However, on the other hand, they have the following problems.

That is, when obtaining a molded product made of resin concrete as described above, usually powder aggregate, reinforcing fibers,
The method used is to uniformly mix the catalyst, etc. to form a dumpling, then put it into a mold of a press molding machine and heat and pressurize it, so it is difficult to obtain a thin-walled molded product due to the fluidity of the mixture. However, even if it were possible to obtain a thin-walled molded product, the strength would be poor. Therefore, all conventional molded products made of resin concrete are thick and heavy, making them inconvenient to carry and handle, and also requiring a large amount of material, resulting in high costs.

In order to solve the above problems, the molded product with a rock-like pattern of the present invention is a molded product of SMC, and has a structure in which mixed powder aggregate for forming a rock-like pattern is embedded in the outer surface layer of the molded product. The manufacturing method of the present invention is characterized in that S
Mixed powder aggregate for forming a rock-like pattern is spread on the MC to a nearly constant thickness, the aggregate is embedded in the SMC under pressure, and the SMC is pressed so that the surface where the aggregate is embedded is the outer surface. It is characterized by being moldable.

If SMC with mixed powder aggregate embedded in the surface layer is press-formed in this way, it will be possible to create a thicker wall by taking into account the fluidity of the molding material in the mold, as in the case of conventional resin concrete molded products. It is not necessary to make a molded product, and it is possible to obtain a thin molded product corresponding to the thickness of the SMC.
Since the material is substantially the same as high-strength FRP, the molded product has high strength even though it is thin.

This blended powder aggregate 1 is a mixture of various coarse sand, fine sand, rock-forming mineral grains, etc. in appropriate proportions so as to form a desired inter-rock pattern, for example, a comb-shaped Ishioka pattern. In the case of forming, a composition containing 1 part of Kuroishi to 3 parts of Kansuishi is preferably used. In addition, SMC2 is made of uncured unsaturated polyester resin, glass fiber, curing agent,
A commercially available sheet containing various additives, etc. (for example, manufactured by Dainippon Ink ■) may be used, but in the case of the present invention, the aggregate content is smaller than that of the commercially available sheet,
Those with higher viscosity are more preferably used. Furthermore,
The thickness of the SMC is preferably about 1 to 10 mm.

When using one that is thinner than 1 mm, it is difficult to embed mixed powder aggregate 1 in the SMC in the next aggregate embedding process.
This is because there is a problem that the strength of the resulting molded product is insufficient, and on the other hand, if a molded product that is thicker than 10 mm is used, the strength will be greater than necessary and it will be wasted.

This is because if the aggregate 1 is spread more thickly than this and embedded in the SMC 2 in the next step, the aggregate content of the SMC 2 may become excessive, leading to a decrease in the strength of the molded product. The thickness of the dispersed layer of aggregate 1 may be adjusted using, for example, a doctor blade.

The SMC2 in which the blended granular aggregate 1 was sprinkled as described above is
Next, in the aggregate embedding step shown in FIG. 1b, it is passed through a pressure roll 3.3, and the blended granular aggregate 1 is embedded in the surface layer of the SMC 2 by the pressure of the roll. In that case, rather than applying large roll pressure to completely embed the blended granular aggregate 1 in the SMC 2, a portion of the blended granular aggregate 1 is exposed and remains on the surface of the SMC 2 as shown in the figure. It is desirable to adjust the roll pressure so that the condition is achieved.

The SMC 2 in which the mixed powder aggregate 1 is embedded in this way is placed between the upper and lower molds 4a and 4b of the press molding machine in the press molding process shown in FIG. 1c, and the aggregate embedding surface is It is press-molded under heat so as to form the outer surface of the molded product, and is cured to obtain the desired thin-walled molded product. Also in this press forming process, a part of the blended powder aggregate 1 is SMC2
It is desirable to adjust the press pressure so that the surface is exposed.
