PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturizing a battery replacing machine in a battery station and at making the same lightweight, by providing such an arrangement that a battery on an unmanned vehicle may be changed with a charged battery in the battery station in association with the running of a battery replacing unmanned vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A battery station 3 has multi-story battery racks 4 on which batteries 2b charged by a charger 5 are set, and the batteries 2b may be loaded and unloaded on and from the racks 4 by means of an replacing unit 6 moved up and down by means of an elevator 7. In this arrangement, there is provided a battery replacing unmanned vehicle 9 which runs between an unmanned carrier vehicle 1 and the station 3. Further during replacement of a battery 2a on an unmanned vehicle 1, at first the battery replacing unmanned vehicle 9 is allowed to enter in a space below the battery 2a and an elevator 10 is elevated to receive the battery, and is then allowed to run in this condition to the station 3.
