本発明は表示素子の液晶あるいはLED等を用

一般に電子時計のモジユールは3層構造を有し
ている。即ち液晶表示板又はLED表示板等の表
示装置が装着されるモジユールフレームと、時計
回路を構成する大規模集積回路(LSI)及び水晶
振動子等が固着されている基板と、この基板をモ
ジユールフレームに固定する裏蓋とから成り、裏
蓋はモジユールフレームにビス止めしていた。ま
た裏蓋はモジユールフレームと同様合成樹脂から
成り、モジユールをケースに装着した場合にケー
スの蓋と基板の電極との短絡を防止していた。従
つてビス止めする為に組み立てに時間がかかり生
産性が悪く、更に裏蓋が合成樹脂であるため厚み

本実施例に於いて、1は合成樹脂で形成された
モジユールフレームであり、電池収納部2と水晶
振動子収納部3とが設けられ、更に液晶表示板を
装着するためのモジユールフレーム1を貫通する
空間4と液晶表示板の電極と接続されるコネクタ
ーが挿入される溝5とが設けられている。6は基
板であり、一方の面には時計回路を形成する大規
模集積回路、水晶振動子、トリマーコンデンサ等
が固着され、更にこれらを配線する導電路が両面
に設けられ、また他方の面には一方の電源を回路
に供給する為の電極7が設けられる。8は絶縁フ
イルムであり、基板6の電極7に対応して窓9が
設けられている。10はスプリング性を有する基
板押え金具であり、直角に曲折された4個の腕1
1を有し、腕11には各々穴12が形成され、更
に基板押え金具10にはモジユールフレーム1に
設けられた電池収納部2と対応した切り欠き部1
9が設けられ、その切り欠き部19からは電池の
電極と接続する端子13が設けられると共に、基
板6の電極7に接触する舌片14が設けられてい

されて設けられ、基板6を乗せることに依り基板
6に設けられたスイツチ用の電極16と接続がな
される。また基板押え金具10の固定は腕11に
対応したモジユールフレーム1の側面に三角形状
の突出部17が形成され、この突出部17に腕1
1の穴12を引掛けて固定するものである。この
際突出部17が三角形状で傾斜している為に基板
押え金具10を上から押えることに依り、腕11
が広がり自動的に穴12が突出部17に引掛かる
のである。従つてビス止めの必要もなく非常に簡

が大増に減り組み立ての簡略及び時間短縮が図か
れると共に、組み立てられたモジユールのみで時
計動作のテストが行なえるので、生産性が向上す
る。更に、基板押え金具が弾性を有する薄い金属
板で形成されるので、モジユール全体の厚みは、
略モジユールフレームと基板の厚さだけで定ま
り、薄型の電子時計が得られる利点を有してい

挾まれ、前記窓に露出する電極と接触する位置に
設けられた舌片と、前記モジユールフレーム側面
に設けられたスイツチ電極と接触する位置に延在
して略直角に曲折されモジユール外部からの押圧
にて前記スイツチ電極と接触するスイツチ接片と
を具備することを特徴とする電子時計のモジユー
