Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a set compact and to improve the tone quality by causing a panel of a cathode ray tube front surface to be a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A drive part 2 is provided at the bottom of a front panel 7 disposed at the front surface of a cathode ray tube 1. The drive part 2 is obtained by adhering piezoelectric elements 3 and 4 and a pole plate 5 on the front panel 7 with an adhesive 6. In accordance with the size of the front panel 7, the piezoelectric elements 3 and 4 are laminated to secure power. When a sound signal is inputted to these piezoelectric elements 3 and 4, the compression stress and tensile stress develop on the piezoelectric elements 3 and 4 to distort them. The distortion is transmitted to the front panel 7 to vibrate it, and air is vibrated to emit a sound.

シ、前面パネル7が振動し、空気を振動させて放音する
ことになる。圧電素子3と4の組合せは同じ方向の歪が
発生するように組合わせる。
