Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a fungus effective for controlling blight of solanaceous plants, specific soil infectious blights, by separating the fungus from rhizosphere of tomato grown in natural field soil. CONSTITUTION:Fusarium oxysporum MT-0062 (FERM P-9608) separated from rhizosphere of tomato growth in natural field soil. The fungus is used in the form of suspension of spore or mycelium, culture filtrate or spore germinated solution, applied by immersing root part in the treating solution, by feeding the treating solution to soil or by row application and treating period is preferably both starting of raising of seedling and setting. In the case of immersion of root, >=10<4>, especially >=10<6> spores are used based on 1ml treating solution and in the case of soil treatment, >=10<3>, especially >=10<5> spores on 1g dried soil.
