Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the measurement of flow characteristics of resin suited to the practical use in injection molding and the like possible by a structure wherein openings, through which the efflux of molten resin outside a mold is made possible, is provided at a part of a cavity. CONSTITUTION:An opening part is preferably provided at or near the end of a cavity, for example, a mold, at the end of the cavity 5 of which openings 5 are provided and in the cavity of which sensors 9 for measuring resin temperature and internal pressure and sensors 10 for measuring mold temperature, are embedded, is employed so as to be installed on an injection molder, on which an in-cylinder resin temperature sensor, an oil pressure sensor and an injection speed sensor are provided in order to measure temperatures or resin in flow state at four points apart from a sprue, pressure distribution in the cavity and the like. The state of resin in steady flow is easily obtained. Thus, the characteristics such as temperature, pressure and the like become constant, resulting in making accurate measurement possible.
