Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable automatic radiation of a beam of a transmitted radio wave in the incoming direction of a received radio wave regardless of a difference in the frequency of the received and transmitted radio waves, by arranging an element antenna, an A/D converter, a phase shifter and the like to detect the incoming direction of the received radio wave. CONSTITUTION:A received radio wave arriving from the incoming direction 13 of the received radio wave is received with element antennas 1a and 1b and received 3a and 3b via transmission/reception separators 2a and 2b. The received signals are converted 4a and 4b into digital from analog with a signal processor 8. The device 8 calculates a reception phase and an amplitude of the antennas 1a and 1b corresponding to arrival lengths 15a and 15b from equal phase planes 14 of the antennas 1a and 1b to compute the direction 13 by FFT. A transmission radio wave controlled in the phase with phase shifters 11a and 11b is amplified with transmitters 12a and 12b to remove undesired radio waves and transmitted through the antennas 1a and 1b via the devices 2a and 2b. At this point, as the phase shifters 11a and 11b control the phase of the transmission radio wave so that the equal phase plane of the transmission radio wave coincides with that 14 of the reception radio wave thereby permitting the radiating of the beam of the transmission radio wave in the direction 13.
