Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the checking of continuity between a contact probe and an object to be connected, by arranging more than one electrodes insulated from each other having a member for connection fixed therein to examine continuity between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A contact probe 1 is made up of electrically independent two flat-spring shaped electrodes 3 in which a connection member from a circuit to be inspected is fixed in contact at two points within a plug-in port 2 and an electrically independent round pin-shaped conductor pin 4 on the opposite side thereto. These parts are fixed with an outer frame 5 of the contact probe using an insulating material. Voltage of 5V is applied across both ends of voltage division resistances 7 and 8 and conductor pins are connected each at one end of the voltage division resistances 7 and 8 and at a midpoint therebetween to make the midpoint as check point 6. Thus, electric connection between the contact probe and the connection member is checked from a potential condition of the check point 6.
