Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a cross dipole antenna having ease of manufacture and excellent characteristics, by fixing two sets of connecting lines to a dielectric substance base so that they cross on different planes of the base. CONSTITUTION:An outer connecting plate 19 is connected to the outer conductor of a coaxial line 3 and power is given to one piece 1a of the dipole via a throughhole plating 13a. On the other hand, the inner conductor of the line 3 is connected to a connecting line 15 through a through-hole 14b and power is given to one piece 1b of the dipole. The piece 1b is connected to a through-hole plating 13b and a branch conductor 6. Unbalanced mode current is converted into balanced mode with the conductor 6 and a short bar 11 and the current is given to dipoles 1a, 1b. The mechanism of power supply to dipoles 2a, 2b of the coaxial line is the same. Thus, the length among the connecting lines 15, 16, 17 is arbitrarily adjusted within a range so that the characteristics of the dipoles can not be distorted, allowing to make the same of the impedance connected to each dipole.
