Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the temperature of a shower constant by a method wherein a circuit including a control temperature sensing element and a temperature controlling variable resistor is provided in an electronic circuit of the hot water heater having a heating coil in a heating water circulation circuit and a low temperature control operation is performed with a gentle temperature gradient.
CONSTITUTION: The control temperature sensing element 30 for driving a temperature controlling proportional control valve 5 is provided in the heating water circulation circuit of the hot water heater and is conncted to the temperature controlling variable resistor 31 through a hot water supply float switch 33. When a switch 32 is closed, a large electric current flows through the amplifying proportional control valve 5 so that the temperature of transistors 7 and 6 rise. Then, when the temperatures of the transistors 7 and 6 rise further, a base voltage of a transistor 11 drops so that the transistor 11 is operated through a resistor 27 and the valve 5 is closed. Further, when the resistance of the variable resistor 31 becomes minimum, the resistance of a thermistor becomes large of necessity so that the temperature sensing element operates at a low temperature enabling the temperature of the hot water to be controlled and the gradient of the control temperature of a low temperature section becomes gentle to thereby facilitate the use of the hot water.
