Abstract
PURPOSE:To make sure axial-fixing of a rotor blade and decrease stress amplitude on a grooved portion by fitting an elastic material under compressed condition in a space between a dovetail of a blade and the groove of a rotor incase of such an unit in which the dovetail is fitted into the groove to fix the blade to the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A blade 1 is fixed to a rotor 3 by fitting dovetail 2 of the blade 1 into a groove 6 of the rotor 3. Then an elastic material, for example, an oval ring 7 is compressed and inserted between the dovetail 2 and the groove 6. In order to insert the oval ring 7, first the portions of the ring 7 along its long axis direction is fitted into the long axis directional portions of an oval groove 8 formed in the dovetail 2, the oval ring 7 is turned by 90 deg. with a jig to be inserted into a fitting groove 7a formed on an inner face of the ring 7, and its ends along the long axis direction of the oval ring 7 are fitted securely into a dovetail side fixing dent 8a and a rotor side fixing dent 3a. Accordingly, the axial direction firm fixing of the blade 1 can be obtained and the stress amplitude applied to the grooved portion 6 at the times of starting and stopping can be decreased.
