Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform mutual data transfer between LSIs securely and easily, by providing a data transfer speed converting circuit which obtains a speed conversion ratio K or 1/K when the K is an integer. CONSTITUTION:One input of the 1st AND gate 2 of each of unit speed converting circuits I1-IN is connected to the output of the register 6 of the front stage except an initial-stage shift register 6, and input data inputted from a terminal 11 is supplied to the initial stage. One-side inputs to the 2nd AND gates 2 and 3 are added by an OR gate 4, whose sum output is inputted to the register 6. The output of the register 6 of the final stage is outputted as speed-converted output data from a terminal 14.
