Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a Hall element of good yield and high sensitivity, by providing a protruded magnetic pole on a part opposed to the magnetism-sensitive part of a magnetism-electricity converter film and by providing a nonmagnetic material around the protruded magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux collecting protruded piece 51 is provided on a Hall element substrate 5 made of a magnetic material. A Hall element film 3 is provided on the collecting piece 51 so that the magnetism-sensitive part of the film is opposed to the piece 51. A nonmagnetic material 6 is provided around the collecting piece 51 so that a plane is defined by the material and the piece. Ni-Zn ferrite is the best material for the substrate 5.
