Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of analysis data obtained with a simple construction by projecting photometric beam on each cuvette from one light source at several points with the rotation of a prism and one transmitted light is detected with a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:Cuvettes 16 are set in order on a turn table 11 turning inter- mittently and a test liquid is made therein. On the other hand, the cylinderical member 30 rotates faster than the turn table 1 so as to lead the light flux from the light source in the cylinderical member 24 selectively to the optical member 42 provided at specified several points. This allows each cuvette 16 to admit photometric light flux several times at the position corresponding to the optical member 42 and hence, the light transmitted is emitted to the cylindrical member 30 again and enters the photodetector 48. Accordingly, it is made possible to monitor the reaction process of each test liquid on the reaction line without disturbing the transfer of the cuvette thereby affording analysis data which are highly accurate and reliable.
