Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the efficiency of water shielding when a grounting agent is filled in spaces by a method in which cut-off plates whose one end is fixed with a grout pipe are fitted into each other and then water jet is injected from the bottom of these pipes to discharge soil and sand in the spaces formed by these pipes, followed by the injection of grouting agent.
CONSTITUTION: In a cut-off plate 2, a grout pope 1 is fixed by welding to one side of the body 3, and also an engaged portion 4 with a space enough to insert the pipe 1 is formed at the other end. The first cut-off plate 2 is placed, and then the next cut-off plate 2 is placed by fitting it into the engaged portion 4 of the first cut- off plate 2 already provided with the gout pipe 1. The operation is repeated. When sand and soil is filled in the engaged portion 4 during the construction work, water jet is injected into the bottom of the pipe 1 to discharge the sand and soil from the upper part of the pipe 1. Then, a grouting agent is filled into space of the engaged portion 4 for shilding water.
