Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate no-load running of a fluid machine and prevent thereby damage of mechanical seal resulting from too high rotation by providing a liquid level sensing means and an automatic stop means which is to stop the prime mover driving the fluid machine when the liquid level has sunk below a certain value.
CONSTITUTION: This control device is composed of a float 4 provided with a magnet 21 in its inside and a switch 5 to work as lead switch in compliance with the magnetic force effected by said magnet 21. When the liquid level L in the casing 2 is, as illustrated, below the preset level L1, the float 4 sinks to actuate the switch 5 with the aid of the magnet 21, and a contact of this switch 5 or a relay to be actuated by this switch 5 will shortcircuit the primary side of an ignition coil. The prime mover is thus stopped. According to this arrangement, a fluid machine is free from no-load running and any inconvenience resulting therefrom such as damage of mechanical seal can be well prevented.
